Imaarah Moroccan Thobe and Pants Set

What comes in this set?

You get two pieces, a long sleeve Moroccan thobe and matching pants cut from the same fabric. They are sold together and are designed to be worn as a pair.

Can I buy the thobe without the pants?

No, this is sold as a complete set at one price. If you want a thobe on its own, our other Moroccan and Saudi styles are single garments.

How does the thobe fasten?

A concealed front zip runs down the placket, so the embroidery stays unbroken and there are no buttons on show. It gives the front a clean, continuous line.

Do the pants have pockets?

Yes, the pants have side pockets with concealed zip closures, so nothing falls out when you sit. The waistband is elasticated rather than buttoned.

What makes it a Moroccan set?

The Moroccan cut has no shirt collar. Instead it uses a round neckline with an embroidered placket running down the front, and here that embroidery is repeated on the cuffs and the chest pocket.

What fabric is it made of?

It is a lightweight, breathable woven fabric, used for both the thobe and the pants so the two pieces hang and wear the same way.

What sizes does it come in?

Sizes run from 54 to 62. The number is the length of the thobe in inches measured from the shoulder to the hem, and the pants are cut to match that length.

How does the sizing fit?

The cut is a modern relaxed fit rather than a slim one, so take your usual length. The elasticated waistband on the pants gives some room either way.

What colours can I get?

Four colourways, each with its own contrast embroidery: black with white, slate blue with blue, emerald green with sky blue, and white with grey.

Who is it for?

It is a men's set. A matching thobe and pants reads as more considered than a thobe on its own, so it suits formal gatherings as much as ordinary days.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold and do not bleach. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat, and press with a cool iron, keeping the iron off the embroidery.
